A Derbyshire hotel and restaurant has been named one of the top 25 hotels in the UK and the Channel Islands by TripAdvisor. Morley Hayes, a 32-bedroom four-star hotel on Main Road in Morley, near Breadsall and West Hallam, has been ranked 11th in TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards.

The awards, which honor the best hotels in Britain and the Channel Islands, highlighted just two hotels in the Midlands. Morley Hayes was also the only hotel in the East Midlands to be recognized by the travel website.

First place in this year’s awards went to Resident Covent Garden in London. Also included in the Top 25 are The Resident Victoria, Royal Lancaster, Bankside Hotel and Hotel 41, all in London.

The only other hotel in the Midlands Top 25 was the Fairlawns Hotel And Spa in Walsall. Only six of the top 25 were outside London.

Hotel rankings are based on reviews and ratings given by travelers on TripAdvisor, which has more than one billion reviews, covering nearly eight million businesses, including hotels and accommodations, restaurants and restaurants. attractions.

Over 97% of visitors to the Morley Hayes Hotel rated it “Excellent” or “Very Good” on the TripAdvisor website, with guests praising the “gracious staff”, “excellent food”, “the setting beautiful” and “immaculately clean” and “spacious” rooms.
